Lung Cancer Prototype

We’ve built a working prototype that supports faster, more confident lung cancer diagnosis and radiotherapy planning using AI. This is an assistive tool and we are putting oncologists in the loop for development for accuracy and error reduction.

How it works

Our AI model identifies and highlights lung regions of concern, helping clinicians focus their attention with speed and precision.

Diagnosis

This visualisation demonstrates how our system supports clinical decisions through explainable AI. It doesn’t replace radiologists, but enhances their efficiency and confidence during nodule assessment

Automated tumour contouring supports oncologists and medical physicists in radiotherapy workflows, helping reduce treatment planning times.

Treatment

Our system generates AI-assisted contours of both tumours and surrounding organs, streamlining the treatment planning process and reducing human workload, without compromising safety.

Preliminary testing shows diagnostic and treatment delays reduced by up to 80%—supporting earlier, life-saving intervention.

Accuracy

Results from our prototype show significant improvements in speed and accuracy. The model is under further validation before deployment in clinical environments.
